Information reviewed on September 18, 2026.

When and where will the 2026 Spanish Open be held?

The 2026 Spanish Open will be played from Thursday, October 8 to Sunday, October 11 at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. The Royal Spanish Golf Federation’s official listing shows a men’s individual competition in a stroke play format, with 120 players expected. This figure does not equal a final list of confirmed participants. Source: RFEG official listing.

To plan your visit, decide whether you’d prefer to follow a specific player or attend over the weekend. If your priority is to see a particular golfer, check their tee times before planning your trip: the announced field does not determine what time each player will tee off each day.

Where to Watch the 2026 Spanish Open

In Spain, the DP World Tour is typically broadcast on Movistar Plus+, specifically on its Golf channel, both on television and on the Movistar Plus+ app. It’s important to subscribe to that channel to be able to watch the competition.

Tournament Schedule and Player Start Times

The organization has announced that the gates will open at 8:00 a.m. on all four days of the tournament. This time refers to when the public may enter and does not indicate when each golfer will begin playing. Tee times and pairings are typically announced a few days before the tournament begins.

What time is Jon Rahm playing?

His participation has been officially confirmed. His tee time and playing partners will be announced when the pairings are released, and we’ll add them to this guide. When you check them, be sure to note the date, time, and starting tee (1 or 10).
